So sweet they seem on sight
what lay underneath is a mysterious plight
How appealingly the smile covers the face
Hiding beneath a person so fake
Assessing and guessing a person so fake
is no mean task in unpredictable life's drama
Lesson we want to teach to our children is to trust
But long question falters us and makes it must
To guide the new generation to sow seeds of mistrust
Not at all judging people by their superficial crust
As trusting leads to breach in one's faith
Leading to many heartaches at fast rates
Values and morals last a momentary test
Disappearing in nowhere is the main lust
Power and wealth are today's values
Preach or breach them no longer matters
Possess them however way you can
Fair or unfair ways you plan
Richer of resources you'll get
Devoid of sources you'll fret
Imagine a world where a hand can't trust the other hand
Any task will surely end up without reaching its end
Relations will no longer remain even namesake
As all around we'll be surrounded with people so very fake.
